108th Unified Foundation officially opens Day-1

This years’ week-long celebration of Unified Foundation officially commenced with the Flag Raising Ceremony and Turn-over of Deed of Donation sponsored by the Alumni Relations and Linkages Office (ARLO) and the CMU Alumni Association Incorporated (CMUAAI) at the lobby of Administration Building, August 10.

The CMU Alumni Association Incorporated received the total amount of β‚±765,000.00 as a donation from the distinguished alumni. This fund helped in the construction of benches and installation of lamps at the Fulbright Gardens.

The CMU key officials, alumni from different batches, faculty, and staff with Dr. Maria Luisa R. Soliven, University President laid the wreath in honor of those who have served and have contributed to the university. The activity was followed with an Ecumenical Service led by Rev. Fr. Demetrio Berondo and Rev. Maxwell Libnao at the University Convention Center.

The day-1 activity also included Alumni Registration, Job Fair, and feeding program held at the Fulbright Gardens. The Job Fair was participated by Leyte Communications Training Center (LCTC) Allied Services for Teleperformance (CDeO and Cebu) in partnership with the CMUAAI and ARLO.

A hundred pupils of Musuan Elementary School benefited from the CMUAAI and ARLO Feeding Program funded by Alpha Sigma Phi Philippines International Collegiate Service Organization, Inc. and CMU High School batch 1982. (MJTalisay)
