Nine undergraduate programs from five colleges are subjected for AACCUP accreditation from Oct. 24 to 28.
The programs include BS Accountancy, BS Business Administration, BS Office Administration, BS Environmental Science, BS Information Technology, BS Nursing, BS Food Technology, BS Hotel and Restaurant Management, and BS Nutrition and Dietetics.
Faculty and staff from the colleges of Business and Management, Forestry and Environmental Science, Nursing, Human Ecology, and Institute of Computer Applications have prepared for the AACCUP Level II Survey Visit.
Thirteen accreditors arrived in the University on Oct. 23. Β Four of them are from Western Mindanao State University (WMSU), to wit: Dr. Carlo T. Nabo, Prof. Clarissa B. Miranda, Dr. Ricardo A. Somblingo, and Prof. Glory Jean G. Leonin. Three are also from Caraga State Universityβ Dr. Lilia Z. Boyles, Dr. Felix R. Ocarez, and Prof. Kenneth L. Cuidad.
Also present are Prof. Genelyn A. Trinidad and Dr. Hasmenia N. Lasque from Surigao del Sur State University; and Dr. Urduja G. Nacar, University of Southern Mindanao; Dr. Reynaldo M. Nogodula, University of Southeastern Philippines; Prof. Gilda B. Gose, Basilan State College; and Prof. Zoraida E. Bartolome, CLSU.
Dr. Nacar, one of the team leaders, said that he expects that all the recommendations will be adequately addressed, all documents be ready for sufficient evaluation, and there will be a good working relationship with the rest of the accreditors.
