CMU-DOI initiates training workshop for flexible learning

The university’s Director of Instruction Office initiated a training workshop for flexible learning among the faculty last June 24 to July 8 at the Farmer’s Training Center, Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon.

The training workshop aimed at guiding the faculty in upgrading their existing ‘conventional’ OBE-syllabi into an OBE and flexible learning-ready syllabi; training the faculty on the applicable instructional designs, approaches, and strategies under the current teaching and learning environment at the university; and ensuring compliance to the university-prescribed format, style, and content in the submission of the OBE flexible learning-ready syllabi and other instructional designs, approaches, and strategies.

The training workshop covered five topics that were divided into morning and afternoon sessions. These include OBE Flexible Learning-Ready Syllabi Making by Dr. Teresita H. Borres, Developing Printed Instructional Modules by Dr. Andrea G. Azuelo, Developing Digital Instructional Materials by Dr. James L. Paglinawan, Google Classroom as LMS: Pros and Cons by Mr. Rinante M. Buntod, and Basic Guide to Moodle as LMS by Mr. Kent Levi A. Bonifacio.

The training workshop lasted for 11 days to accommodate all faculty from the nine colleges of the university. (ASJAzuelo)
