After CMU became the first state university in Mindanao to pass institutional accreditation and be granted with AACCUP Level II ranking last year, the university this year continues to uphold the quality and standards of its programs by undergoing another accreditation process on March 19-23.

The Northern Mindanao Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (NOMCAARRD) will be hosting its first-ever Farmers and Industry Encounters through the Science and Technology Agenda (FIESTA) which shall be celebrated as “Kawayan ug Kanding FIESTA sa NOMCAARRD.

The university hosted the 14th National Congress of Veterinary Medicine Students (NVCMS) with 134 students and 14 faculty members from various universities across the country on February 7-9 at the College of Veterinary Medicine Hall.

The new school building donated by businessman Edwin Fabro was formally turned over to the CMU Laboratory High School in a ceremony held on January 18.

The university’s BS Biology program earned a Level IV re-accredited status following rigid assessment by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. last December.
