CEBREM director and university professor, Dr. Victor B. Amoroso, was chosen as the regional winner in the search for outstanding government workers under the Civil Service Commission Pag-asa Award.

The Center for Biodiversity Research and Extension in Mindanao (CEBREM) will hold the 1st  International Conference on Biodiversity in time for its 6th Anniversary on November 15-17, 2017 at the Central Mindanao University Farmers Training Center (FTC).

Hundreds of participants from all over Mindanao came to witness the two-day Rodeo sa Musuan in celebration of the university’s 107th Unified Foundation and Alumni Homecoming on September 16-17.

CMU celebrated its 107th Unified Foundation and Alumni Homecoming on Sept. 14-15. One of the highlights of this year’s Unified Foundation was the awarding of outstanding alumni for their performances in their respective careers which reflected excellent learning and training from CMU.

  To follow the standard propagation scheme of quality cassava planting materials, the Department of Agriculture, Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO), conducted a seminar-workshop on propagation and certification of cassava planting materials, held at the Farmers Training Center, Aug. 24.

With the advent of the flu season, the chief of University Hospital encouraged students and employees to avail of the flu vaccine which they offer half the market price. Dr. Aurfeli Taganahan-Emperio, hospital chief, said in a text message: “We promoted flu vaccination but not many availed due to the price.”

Fifty-nine faculty, staff, and researchers participated in the two-day Gender and Development-Public Accountability and Values Enhancement Seminar (GAD-PAVES) held on Sept. 4-5, at the Farmers Training Center.
