CMU hurdles 70% remote ISO audit

“We have successfully completed the 70% stage 2 audit,” Engr. Emmie G. Reyes, ISO Manager and Lead Document Controller, said in an interview after the closing meeting, October 21, 2020.

She said that the university is fortunate for having no major non-conformances. “The ISO auditors also commended the university’s NSTP. Right now, all the process owners are working very hard to comply with the requirements and to improve some university processes so that we can get the certificate before the year ends,” she added.

The ISO auditors were from TUV SUD Management Service that “specializes in auditing, assessment, validation, and certification of management systems, in particular quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems at manufacturing companies and service providers across all sectors of industry.”

The remaining 30% audit is scheduled in December. (RGPadoginog and LESimbajon)
